“Royalty-Free” does not mean that the photograph is free of charge, is free of copyright, or becomes the property of the Client.

Important: The availability of a photograph under editorial license does not imply the granting of image rights, trademark rights, property rights, rights to represented works, or other applicable third-party rights. The Client is responsible for assessing whether their intended use requires additional authorizations.
Free licenses with attribution
14.1 Photographs included and nature of the license
The Free license with attribution This applies exclusively to photographs that the Author expressly identifies in their corresponding record as available under this modality.
The mere presence of a photograph on the web, its inclusion in a thematic category, or simply viewing its image is not sufficient to grant this license. Authorization must be expressly stated in the photograph's information sheet.
This license allows you to download and use the photograph free of charge, for the personal and commercial uses described in this section, with the obligation to acknowledge its authorship.
This is a proprietary license of Jeison Salazar Photography. It does not constitute a public domain license or a Creative Commons license.
The author retains intellectual property rights to the photograph. Downloading the photograph does not transfer ownership of the work nor does it allow anyone to claim authorship.
For the purposes of this section, the natural or legal person who downloads and uses the photograph will be referred to as the “"User"” and will be subject to the obligations applicable to the use of the photographs, even if you do not make a purchase.
14.2 Scope, duration and economic conditions
The license is:
- Free: It does not require the payment of a price or additional fees for each authorized use.
- Not exclusive: The author may offer the same photograph to other people or entities.
- Non-transferable and non-sublicensable.
- Global in scope.
- No contractual limit on duration, during the period of protection of the rights over the photograph and provided that the conditions of this license are met.
There is no numerical limit on physical reproductions or digital views for expressly authorized uses.
The fact that the license is free does not mean that the photograph is free of rights or that uses other than those authorized can be made.
14.3 Permitted Uses
Provided that the attribution obligations and the other conditions of these Terms are met, it is permitted to:
- Use the photograph as a wallpaper and make prints for private use.
- Incorporate it into websites, blogs, and social media posts, including those with a commercial purpose.
- Use it in presentations, educational materials, informational publications, and audiovisual projects.
- Incorporate it into advertising, promotional campaigns, brochures, catalogs and other communication materials of a company, brand, product or service, when the rights of third parties and the specific conditions of the sheet allow such use.
- Incorporate it as an illustrative element into larger projects and publications, including books, magazines and other content intended for sale, provided that the result does not constitute a resale of the photograph as an independent product.
- Make minor editing adjustments as needed to integrate it into the project, such as cropping, resizing, color adjustments and text overlay, respecting the restrictions indicated below.
The delivery or publication of a completed project that legitimately incorporates the photograph does not authorize its recipients to extract it, reuse it separately, or redistribute it as an independent resource.
If a third party needs to use the photograph independently, they must obtain their own license through this website or request authorization from the Author.
14.4 Mandatory attribution
Any use published, communicated to the public, or incorporated into a project intended for third parties must include a legible credit that identifies the Author by means of the following name:
Photo: Jeison Salazar Photography
In digital publications and uses, the credit must also include a working link to:
When the platform allows linking, the author's name can be linked directly to this address. When active links are not allowed, the web address must be clearly displayed next to the credit.
The credit may appear next to the photograph, in the caption, in the post description, or in a credits section clearly linked to the content. It is not sufficient to include it solely in metadata, hidden code, or information that the public cannot reasonably access.
In printed publications, the author's name must appear in the image caption or in a credits section that allows identification of which photograph it corresponds to.
For strictly private use without distribution to third parties, such as a personal wallpaper or a print for home use, public attribution is not required. This exception does not eliminate or modify the authorship of the photograph.
If adjustments have been made, it should not be suggested that the modified version was published or approved by the Author.
If the project or platform does not allow compliance with these attribution conditions, the User must first request written authorization or an alternative license.
14.5 Prohibited uses and actions
Unless expressly authorized in writing by the Author, this license does not permit:
- Reselling, giving away, distributing or providing the photograph as a standalone file, whether in its original version or in a substantially equivalent version.
- Incorporate it into image banks, resource libraries, download platforms, photo collections, or similar services, even if access is free.
- Sell it as a print, poster, canvas, or other product whose main contribution is the photograph itself.
- Use it in merchandising or Print-on-Demand when the photograph is the main element or the determining factor for purchasing the product.
- Circumvent these restrictions through minor changes, such as cropping, filters, color adjustments, or the addition of text or accessory elements.
- Transfer or sublicense the rights to use the photograph.
- Presenting oneself as the author or removing authorship information in order to conceal its origin.
- Registering the photograph, either alone or in a substantially identical form, as a trademark, logo or distinctive sign.
- Making alterations that create a substantially different narrative without the Author's written authorization.
- Use it in an illegal, defamatory, or deceptive manner, or to falsely suggest that the Author or the persons, entities, or brands represented endorse a product, service, opinion, or activity.
- To make any other use prohibited by the general restrictions of these Terms.
The authorization for commercial use does not automatically include the right to sell the photograph separately or to exploit products whose main value is the image itself.
14.6 Third-party rights and photographs for editorial use
This license grants only the rights that correspond to the Author with respect to the photograph. It does not, in itself, grant permissions regarding the image of people, trademarks, works, properties, or other elements depicted.
The fact that the download is free does not eliminate the obligation to check whether the intended use requires additional authorizations.
When the record expressly states that a photograph is of Editorial use only, This limitation must be respected even though the download is free. Its availability at no cost does not authorize its use in advertising, promotions, or any other commercial use prohibited by its editorial nature.
When a record indicates that the Author has performed a manual review of the content to check for the apparent absence of identifiable persons, trademarks or protected works, such indication describes a visual check and does not constitute a guarantee of the non-existence of third-party rights or an authorization granted by their holders.
14.7 Download, prior information and retention of the license
The photographs offered under this modality can be downloaded directly through the system enabled on the web, without the need to make a payment, create an account or formalize an order, unless another procedure is expressly indicated.
Before downloading, the User must be able to consult the applicable conditions through the photograph's information sheet and the link to these Terms.
Permission to use the photograph is granted exclusively under the terms of this license. Downloading it alone does not expand the permitted uses.
It is recommended to keep a copy of the information sheet, the applicable terms and conditions, and the download date to identify the photograph and the license under which it was obtained. If there is no order, invoice, or confirmation email, it will not be necessary to provide these documents to identify a free download.
If the file is damaged, corrupt, or does not correspond to the photograph offered, the User may report it by contacto@jeisonsalazar.com.
14.8 Relationship with the other sections
This section specifically regulates the photographs offered under Free license with attribution. It does not extend or modify the rights granted through separate personal, commercial RF or publishing licenses.
The provisions regarding intellectual property, general restrictions, third-party rights, use of the website and other compatible conditions will continue to apply.
References in sections 4, 5, 6 and 16 to price, cart, payment, order, invoice or purchase confirmation will not require these procedures for a direct free download.
The fact that it is free of charge does not exclude any rights that the User may have under applicable mandatory regulations. Nor does it in itself imply the loss of the right of withdrawal: when specific consent is legally required for the provision of digital content, it must be obtained in accordance with the terms set out in section 10.
Viewing a photograph will still not grant usage rights, in accordance with section 18, unless there is express authorization such as that established in this license.
The subsequent removal of a photograph from the free collection or the modification of the conditions for future downloads will not retroactively alter the rights granted under a previously obtained license, provided that the User continues to comply with its conditions.
Any use not intended by or exceeding this license will require prior written authorization from the Author and, where appropriate, an additional license.
15. General license restrictions
Unless expressly authorized in writing by the Author, the following is prohibited:
- Reselling, giving away, or redistributing the original digital file.
- Sublicense the photographs.
- To state or suggest that the Client is the author of the photograph.
- Remove authorship or copyright information in order to hide the origin of the photograph.
- Using the photographs illegally.
- Using the photographs in a defamatory or misleading manner.
- Using them in content that promotes hatred or unlawful discrimination.
- Using a photograph of a person in a way that falsely implies that they suffer from an illness, have committed a crime, or participate in sensitive activities when the photograph and context do not support this.
- Using the photograph outside the rights granted by the purchased license.
Any use that exceeds the rights granted will require prior authorization from the Author and, where appropriate, the acquisition of an additional license.
16. Delivery of digital photographs
Once payment is confirmed, the Customer will receive access to the purchased digital file through the download system enabled by the website.
The file can be submitted individually or within a compressed file, such as ZIP.
The download package may contain:
- The acquired photograph.
- License information.
- License terms.
- Copyright or authorship information.
The Customer must keep the confirmation email, invoice or order receipt, as these documents allow identification of the photograph and the type of license purchased.
17. Third-party rights
Some photographs, especially those intended for editorial use, may include recognizable people, trademarks, works, buildings, properties, or other elements protected by third-party rights.
Ownership of the rights to the photograph does not necessarily imply ownership of all independent rights that may exist over the elements represented in it.
When a photograph requires additional authorizations for certain uses, it will be the Client's responsibility to obtain them, unless the Author has expressly indicated that such authorizations are included.
18. Intellectual property of the website
The texts, photographs, images, design, graphic elements, logos, videos and other original content present on this website are protected by intellectual and industrial property legislation.
They may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, exploited or used outside the limits permitted by law or the corresponding license without authorization.
Viewing the photographs on the website does not grant any license to download, copy or use them.

Nothing in this section shall limit the rights legally afforded to the consumer.
21. Links to third parties
The website may contain links to pages, platforms, or services managed by third parties.
The Owner does not necessarily control these sites and will not be responsible for their content, availability, or policies.
Access to external sites will be subject to the conditions established by their respective owners.

The Owner may modify these Terms and Conditions to adapt them to legal, technical, commercial or product and service-related changes.
The modifications will be published on the website and will indicate the corresponding update date.
The modifications will not retroactively alter rights acquired through previously formalized purchases or licenses, unless otherwise provided by law.
Each purchase will be subject, in general, to the conditions applicable at the time it was made.
25. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Spanish law.
When the Client has the status of consumer or user, any dispute will be submitted to the courts and tribunals that are competent according to the applicable regulations, without these Terms implying a waiver of the rights or jurisdictions that legally correspond to him.
When it is legally possible to agree on jurisdiction and no other mandatory rule applies, the parties agree to submit to the courts and tribunals of Seville, Spain.

27. Acceptance of the Terms

The Client declares that they have had the opportunity to consult these Terms and Conditions before being bound by the contract.
In the case of digital content supplied immediately, where legally required, the express consent necessary to start the supply during the withdrawal period and the acknowledgment of the legal consequences that this entails will be requested.
Photographic licenses: The purchase of a digital photograph does not transfer copyright ownership. The buyer only obtains the rights corresponding to the purchased license and must retain their proof of purchase.
